Frequently Asked Questions

Aqua Grip can be applied to any type of bath or shower tray. In fact it can even be installed on tiled floors as well to help prevent slips.

Aqua Grip is currently only appled by our in house technicians. But the great news is that the  Aqua Grip Systems will soon be avavilable as a DIY kit. Each kit will have all the components and instructions to clean and prepare your surface.

Most certainly! Aqua Grip for acrylic surfaces creates a lovely looking clean white or clear texture in the base of your bath or shower tray. Especially good for those old tired surfaces that look worn out, or scratched . It can just make them disappear* like magic. (*Fine scratches only). Aqua Grip for ceramic or glazed surfaces is virtually invisble to the naked eye and is installed in minutes with no downtime at all. But because of its “invisible” properties,  it cannot hide or cover any fine scratches or damage that the Aqua Grip System for acrylic/gel coat and composite surfaces does.

This is always a difficult question to answer because a house is different to a busy hotel.  Providing the surface is not physically damaged, then in a domestic setting you would expect the systems to last for at least 5 + years, but for a hotel 3 to 5 years. That said, please bear in mind that these are only guideline figures.

The simple answer is to this question is look after it the same as you would the rest of your bath or shower and avoid aggressive acids and abrasive pads . Ideally and our recommendation would be to use our bespoke cleaner and maintainer DK Intensiv to both maintain cleanliness and safety. The really good news is that the soon to be DIY kits all have a free sample of our DK Intensiv

The cost of Aqua Grip is just a little more than a well made (but unhygienic) bath mat. Just give us a call to find out more.

Currently our in house technicians carry out all installations, but very soon the Aqua Grip Systems will be avavilable in DIY kit form making it easy for any person to carry out the installation. However, we also provide onsite training for maintenance personnel who work within the hotel and leisure industry as well should that be needed. In fact, we can almost accommodate most requirements. Just give us a call to discuss your particular requirement.
